Mind Harbour are looking for people with a lived experience of mental health challenges who want to use their expertise to make a difference and help others.
Mind Harbour supports individuals and businesses to improve their wellbeing practice and awareness. We strongly believe that those with lived experience of these issues should be at the heart of our work so we can respond to the real challenges faced by sufferers day-to-day. For this reason Mind Harbour is setting up an advisory group of 'experts by experience' to inform our policy and approach to mental health education. It is my aim that with your valuable input Mind Harbour can deliver training and education which is patient-centered, empowering and meaningful.
As a member of the advisory group you will be asked to:
- Provide feedback on Mind Harbour policy and educational material
- Participate in group discussion on subjects relating to mental health and wellbeing where you will be invited to share your own experience.
These activities can all be carried out remotely and will not require you to travel although I do intend to host a welcome event in Norwich for participants once we are established and periodically thereafter in order to meet you personally and support you in the role.
If you are interested in becoming a member of the Mind Harbour advisory group please contact me by email at firstname.lastname@example.org using the subject 'Expert'.
Thank you for your interest!
